Which expression shows the height, in meters, of the sail? A. 2 sin 40° B. 2 cosec 40° C. \[\left(\begin{matrix}2 \\ \csc 40°\end{matrix}\right)\] D. \[\left(\begin{matrix}2 \\ \sec 40°\end{matrix}\right)\]
I would like an explanation before the answer please :p Can't figure out the rest of the problems without the initial start-up on them.
C is actualy 2/cot 40deg

\[2\tan 40=x\] Since tan = 1/cot you should be able to select the correct answer.
