What is the correct way to write Masters of English degree? Is it Masters' of English degree or Masters of English degree?

OpenStudy (farmdawgnation):

I believe it is "Master of English" - or perhaps "Master of Fine Arts in English" depending on how your program organizes it.

Thanks a million.

OpenStudy (april115):

i think its "Master of English" degree. beacause in college arts is for acting and acting and english are two different things.

OpenStudy (farmdawgnation):

Eh, that's not strictly true. What the title of the degree is itself varies based on the program. Right, so I have a "Bachelor of Science in Computer Science", but some Universities have a "Bachelor of Computer Science" or a "Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering" - while likely equivalent in content - there is a different in the "proper" way to write the degree. Of course, there comes a point where you're just splitting hairs.

OpenStudy (april115):

wat do u mean by splitting hairs??
