Write an expression for the following real-world situation. Katie is moving to a new house. Small boxes hold 15 pounds each and medium boxes hold 25 pounds each. Write an expression for the total weight in the moving van if Katie uses "s" small boxes and "m" medium boxes.

Parth (parthkohli):

Where do you find it difficult?

I Was Absent From School Alot For Hospital Purposes. So I Dont KNow This.

Parth (parthkohli):

Okay, it's pretty easy: \(\Large \color {purple}{\rightarrow 15s + 25m }\) This is the answer. Do you get why?

15 Pounds For The Small Boxes And 25 Pounds For The Medium Boxes?

Parth (parthkohli):

Yeah, probably. But the thing is the weight of small boxes would be weight of one small box multiplied by the number of boxes right? So it gets 15 * s = 15s Similarly you do for the medium boxes. Now to sum them up, you just have to put a plus sign.

Thank You!(:
