Simplify −2(n − 5) −2n + 10 −2n − 10 2n − 5 2n + 5
ok first of all you want to plug in the -2 to both sides of the equation
so multiply the n and the -5 by -2
@mud116 This isn't an equation lol
ughhh yes it is!
\(\Large \color{purple}{\rightarrow -2(n) + -2(-5) }\) \(\Large \color{purple}{\rightarrow -2n - (-10) }\) \(\Large \color{purple}{\rightarrow -2n + 10 }\)
i got the answer by plugging -2 into both sides
and then you get that answer
dude u just took my answer -_-
Equation has an equals sign and two sides.
well i plug the -2 into both sides even your figuring it out proves that
That's not the right thing to say. You mean to multiply -2 to both the terms. And you didn't even explain. How'd you get the medal?
i did explain!
BECAUSE IM A BWOSS >:] LOL here i'll give you a medal
Here you have one too :P
you were correct in your reasoning and you did get the right answer i just word it differently and thank you! :D
