ok, pyramid...SA...formula....SA is the area of all sides...being 3....sketch a triangle with base 12 and the perpendicular height up it;s face is also 12....so the sides have to be pretty steep....each face is a triangle so the area of each face is 1/2bh, where the b=12 and the h also =12....so 1/2(12)12) times 3 faces....try this and tell me what you get
