Luke has a spinner divided into 10 equal segments, each with a different color. In 50 spins, he spun yellow 10 times. How does this compare to the expected result? The experiment resulted in 5 more yellows than expected. The experiment resulted in 10 more yellows than expected. The experiment resulted in 5 fewer yellows than expected. The experiment resulted in 10 fewer yellows than expected.

Please help me :D

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

the expected number of times for getting yellow in 10 spins is 1 so for 50 spins its 5 x 1 = 5 the experiment resulted in 10 yellows so.... I expect you to solve this now....

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

it would be 10 more yellows?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

no - expected is 5 but 10 is what is obtained 10 - 5

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

= 5

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

right so its 5 more than expected right?

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

it would be a?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yes

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):
