this is a hint it gives me but i dont understand...---- > to add together the volume of a bottom prism: V=lwh and the volume of top pyramid is V=Bh/3

ok think bottom prism which is the rectangle . its V=lwh so thats v=2.5*3*2 so that equals 15 as the volume,. then you move to the top which is a triangle . thats V=bh1/3 n thats V=2.5*1.5*1/3 n that equals 1.25 as the volume

my sister said to put it this way
For the dolls house, it is made up of 2 regular shapes. The volume of the bottom half is easy enough.

BOTTOM PART = 2.5*3*2= 15cubic feet.

For the top part, the rule is that anything pyramid shaped or cone shaped will be:

AREA OF BASE * HEIGHT * 1/3

For this case it will be;

(2.5*3)*1.5/3=3.75 cubic feet

TOTAL VOLUME = 15 +3.75 = 18.75 cubic feet.
