What result did Bull Connor's jailing of Dr. King have on the desegregation movement?

A. It angered African Americans and whites equally, calling them together to begin one of the largest protests in history. B. It brought full attention of the evils of segregation to the nation because the event was so widely publicized. C. It had little effect on the movement because by that time all African American's were very active in the movement and didn't need Dr. King's leadership. D. It really hurt the movement because so many of its most active and enthusiastic participants were in jail.
