Please help me! Describe two different vein arrangements in leaves.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please help! I can't find this anywhere...

OpenStudy (rogue):

Draw two leaves like the ones in the attachment. The first leaf has a parallel venation, so it is a monocot. The second has a netted leaf venation and so it is an eudicot.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh so one is like parallel and the other has veins arranged around a center vein?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you soooo much! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The two types are parallel venation and the other is reticulate venation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in leaves leaves 2 types of vanation is seen reticulate and parellel. 1.Reticulate venation:- when the veins are distributed irregularly in the lamina. It is again of 2 types. (a) unicostate reticulate ven. (b) multicostate reticulate ven. 2.Parallel venation:- when veins are parallel to each other. it is also of 2 types same as reticulate venation.....
