what are the formulas to find the total kinetic and potential energy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kinetic= KE= 1/2 MV^2 m= mass, v= velocity Potential= PgH= mgh m=mass, g= gravity, h= height PE=potential energy (joule) m=mass (kg) g=gravitaional acceleration (m/sec^2) h= height (m) elevation

@shruti: But , there are many kinds of potential energy. So,potential energy should be \[U=-\int\limits_{a}^{b}F.dx\] Where,F is a conservative force.
