What's the difference between resonance and constructive interference?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll give you an example to show this. Pushing a person in a swing is a common example of resonance. The loaded swing, a pendulum, has a natural frequency of oscillation, its resonance frequency, and resists being pushed at a faster or slower rate.when the pushing frequency and the swing's frequency matches you will have maximum amplitude. Interference is the phenomenon that happens when two waves superimpose each other.

The basic difference, however is that resonance is defined interaction between a wave and an oscillator, while interference is defined by the interaction between two waves.

Cool, I get it now Cibychak, thanks! :D
