name the set or sets of numbers to which the given real numbers belongs. 0.1 real, rational, integer, irrational

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

0.1 belongs to the set of real numbers and it belongs to the set of rational numbers since 0.1 = 1/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for your help

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

It is also in the set of complex numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

integers are just counting numbers. -2,-1,0,1,2,3 ets Rational numbers can be written as a fraction. If it's in decimial form, it is rational if it terminates or repeats.

Parth (parthkohli):

It is a rational number and ALSO A REAL NUMBER. All rational numbers are real numbers, so :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Irrational numbers are all also real.

Parth (parthkohli):

Yeah, I know that, but the problem doesn't mention about irrational numbers. Also, 0.1 is not an irrational number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And all integers are rational.
