5. Find the volume of the composite space figure to the nearest whole number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

9*6*11=54*11=594 +9pi/2*11=594+155=749

OpenStudy (anonymous):

749 isn't a choice

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

but this is the right answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

416 mm3 705 mm3 1,294 mm3 944 mm3 those are my choices

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

yes is wrong the half cylinder volum because i have wrote the radius equal 3 when this is equal 9/2 =4,5 and hence this volum will be 20,25pi/2 *11=10,125pi *11=338 than 338+594=932

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so hence i think that 944 mm^3 will be right

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jhonyy is right, you have to round to the nearest whole number which would be 944. I just took the test and I got it right.
