Please solve these inequalities. I tried doing them, but it isn't working D: 3.) 10 < –3x + 1 4.) 2(x + 5) > 8x – 8 5.) –2(x – 3) ≥ 5 – (x + 3)

isolate x by distributing, combining like terms,etc., just as you would with an equation with one exception: when you multiply or divide by a negative number, you must change the direction of the inequality signs

Its like an equation. 3) 10 < -3x + 1 9 < -3x (divide both by -3) x > 3 4) 2(x +5) > 8x - 8 2x + 10 > 8x - 8 ( subtract 2x and add 8 to the opposite sides) 18 > 6x (divide by 6) x > 3 5) -2(x - 3) ≥ 5 – (x + 3) -2x + 6 ≥ 5 - x -3 Combine those like terms and do as I did in the previous questions, good luck!
