PLEASE HELP!!! As well as finding the answer, could you explain how you'd solve this problem? Thanks! :) Distance varies directly as time because as time increases, the distance traveled increases proportionally. The speed of sound in air is about 335 feet per second. How long would it take for sound to travel 11,725 feet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Distance = rate*time 11,725 ft = 335 ft/s * time ==>time = 35 seconds
