OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i'm confused...Find the volume fo the solid obtained by rotating the region bounded by \(y = \frac{x^2}{4}\), \(x=2\), and \(y = 0\) about the y-axis... do i use circular disk or washer? because it only has one function (so cant be washer)...and when i revolved it..it has a hole (so cant be disk) o.O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can use either... and actually, you can get away with the disk/washer without knowing the other... but it might produce a harder integral.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

uhmm can you tell me how to washer this? i know one function is x^2/4 what's the other? o.O
