i would really like to know if this is a good obseravtion to use: katlin95 0is this a good observation:) using the hot and cold water I found that hot water disolves more sugar than cold water, because hot water expands, so their is more space between the molecules in hot water than cold?
lol that is definetley not why you dissolve more sugar in warm water. oh you made me laugh now!
its for a lab?
its cause warm water has greater energy, higher the temperature the faster molecules move so the higher the frequency of collisions of water molecules with sugar crystals and higher the sugar content of sugar in solution, furthermore each substance has its maximal concentration in any solvent called saturation. when you lower the temperature of solution there will form some crystals depending of the saturated solution. lets leave it at that cause i gotta run...
