If an object falls five meters during the first interval of time, what is the total distance fallen at the end of the second interval of time?

OpenStudy (ujjwal):

\[S=ut +(1/2) g t ^{2}\] here u= 0 (since the object falls, it is not thrown) puttiing S= 5 m And g= 10 m/s^2 you get t=1 sec now, after second interval of time time (t) = 2 sec substitute it in above equation, you get S=20 m
