Can someone help me out??? it's an igcse question, i'll post the link if you think you can do it, so yeahh :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.xtremepapers.com/papers/CIE/Cambridge%20IGCSE/Physics%20(0625)/0625_w05_qp_1.pdf I know it seems stupid but q's 14, 15 and 26??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have the answers, i just don't know why :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oo, xtremepapers.com..brings back so many memories :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ikr??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

14- pollen grains move randomly so its D..refer to the Brownian motion..the movement of the water molecules causes the pollen grains to move randomly too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but wait, wouldn't it be C, cuz its water, wouldn't be all smooth and all?? not EXACTLY like brownian motion?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the brownian motion is the motion of particles suspended in LIQUID or gas.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OHH. (i feel stupid now :P )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually Robert brown who discovered this motion observed the random movement of pollen grains in water, not with the gas/air molecules. Later Einstein explained this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops :P next question??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

15- it is B low heat capacity means it will heat up or cool down with less transfer of energy.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh, got it. and last one??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

26- the first three are correct.. demagnetizing basically means making the magnet domains loose their alignments

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh. okhayy. thank youu :D
