Why is analyzing media relevant?
it is relevant to analyze media because u dont know where u r getting the information from and u cant figure that out unless u analyze sources. u have to know that some information that comes from unknown sources is not relieable and it might be giving u the wrong information. that's why it is extremely important to know the author, date-time(not most important), publisher and other stuff u must know before u can actually confidently say that the source u used is relieable. some examples of unrelieable sources: Wikipedia or any website that has wiki in its name is not relieable. why: because anyone can edit articles on Wikis and again u cant trust an unknown author unless the author is given and it is said at the top that the author is an expert in the topic. Yahoo answers is another one! again, any user can answer; not every one is an expert! don't trust those sites. THE BEST way to figure out whether a site is relieable is that go on Easybib - best source out there to help u know whether a site or a book is relieable source for u to use. Source: I learned all this from all my teachers this about Plagiarism and Relieable sources and stuff. Hope that helps!
