OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

Is \(2\cdot3\) prime?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think so

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

lol..

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

\(2\cdot3=6\) 6 is not prime. Hence, prime numbers are not a group under multiplication

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

prime numbers are those numbers which have no other factors than 1 and the number itself..if you multiply 2 prime numbers..then the resultant obviously cant be a prime number..
