What is the significance of a portrait of king arthur, the map of england (as it was in the 14th cent), crown, pentagle, cross, and castle of camelot to the mideval times?

Sorry, can you rephrase the question? I don't quite understand.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the significance of each of these items to the midieval times?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Medieval (watch the spelling! medi+eval (middle epoch)) Europe was a time and place of wars, upheaval and violence. Stability in government was longed for, and the legends of King Arthur became a popular source of entertainment, art and poetry. Because King Arthur was both a strong and just king, he was a model for kingship and government. All of the symbols you write about refer to King Arthur, the knights of the Round Table, Christianity in Europe (overcoming the past pagan religions), and good government.
