i think the reason that people keep posting irrelevant questions to certain groups is because they get answers..i suggest we treat answerers who answer these questions equally guilty =_= it's like what my teacher says about cheating on a test..."a person cannot copy an answer if someone didnt let him" that is of course if this hasnt already been implemented...i dunno im new here

Well, to be honest, I answer every homework question. It's simply the fact that the oither groups (besides physics and chem) are dead. Even those two are often half dead. It's not fair to have a question asked and never answered, so they put it over here. What we need is to have people going to thse other groups - answerers, not askers.

maybe a good idea...if we know how to bring answerers...i believe there is a "brain drain" going on in openstudy..a lo of the groups are so inactive that the best answerers we have for that group go bored and migrate to the spunkiest groups (i.e. Math) to get some excitement. then,  once the experts go, the answerers follow and soon the groups just go barren
