From where should I study data mining? I am doing B.Tech. in I.T.(4th year).

data mining is field which closely related with database.in data mining we particularly determine patterns/useful knowledge which pretends to be some futuristic knowledge.
first you should learn SQL(Basics),in this you would be able to learn to creating and managing
database. then after you should need to have knowledge about Data mining tools(I will recommend IBM DB2 tool), this will support various features requires to perform Data mining.
All mentioned information will not sufficiently executable until u learn Data mining algoritms( that can be easily found in your achedemic syllabus).
