Math Proofs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Suppose A is a set. Show that \[i_A\] is the only relation on A that is both an equivalence relation on A and also a function from A to A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess this is identity? For things in A, Reflexivity -Everything is equal to itself Symmetry - If x equals y then y equals x Transitivity - if x = y and y=z then x=z That's basically your relation, maybe you can do the function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't have a clue on how to do the function.. If i can just get that, then I can do the relations.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have just given you the relation proof!
