Suggestion: I would like to suggest that OpenStudy always encourages posters to post attachments locally rather than on some other site. I say this because external links are removed thereby limiting the effectiveness of the thread.
thats a good idea
honestly i want them to stop posting pictures =_= honestly...they're going to laze around and just post a pic rather than typing the problem while im going to work hard to solve it?! ruddywinklefink! it's also a problem when i have to keep switching tabs when i need to see the problem :/although the geometric pics are a problem as they themselves cant draw well..no offense
I'm referring to MIT 6.00. People have posted code solutions on external sites and these have been removed.!
This is an excellent idea. I will add that for the purposes of attaching math problems, we normally do encourage people to upload diagrams and other such things locally because of this problem. Code snippets are bit more precarious because really, you *shouldn't* have to download those but we don't have a formatting option for them on the site. So, I feel like it wouldn't be fair to enforce that because forcing users to go through the process of opening their code editor is an extra step we shouldn't require. But I do see your point all the same.
ohhh external -> things that have to be downloaded hmm i seriously am an illiterate computer engineer -___-
