Peter is in an elevator, the elevator is going downward. The gravitational force on Peter is 100N, the normal force on Peter is 20N, what is the weight of Peter at this moment?

This is the free body digram |dw:1336750423192:dw| the force that he exerts on the supposed weighing machine would the resultant of the two forces i.e, 100-20=80 N.Therefore,his weight would be read by the machine as 80/10=8 kg
