OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can anyone help me with this?

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

question unclear,,

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

you have any figure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what is says....an no

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

ohh maybe i get it..|dw:1336679822562:dw| maybe its asking for this angle..

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

its simply tan^-1 (6/3) i.e. tan^-1 (2)

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

but only if what i assume is right..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have to find the eleavation......its 6 feet high an the base is 3

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

the angle of elevation right? in that guess i guess its what i assume it to be..

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

i mean in that case i guess what i assume is right..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

alright,,take me by my word,,i am 90% sure am right..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the this is idk how to solve it

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

let unknown angle be x.. then from right angled triangle,,tan x = (6/3) = 2 thus x = tan^-1 (2) hope that was clear..
