Look at the figure below What is the value of x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6 13 7 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my answers 10; because if we find out what is the measurement from c to f it be 6; and on the other side of 6 is 18; so the side where 18 is 3 times the one where 6 is. So where x+ 5 is must add up to 3 * 5 which = 15. x + 5 = 15 x = 15 - 5 x = 10; im not 100% sure but thats what i ended up with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i believe its 10 since if you look at one side of the triangle, it's 11, n the lower half of the other side was 18. 5-11=6 so the lower half of the right side of the triangle twice the size of the shape . so double square 5 which would make it 15 n take away 5... as in 15=5+x so X=10

OpenStudy (auctoratrox):

x equals 10 because we can make the proportion 5/11 = (x+5)/(x+23) and solve it for x.
