U.S. high school enrollment has changed from approximately 13.7 million in 1995 to 16.3 million in 2005 a) Calculate the U.S. high school enrollment for 2002. b) Predict the U.S. high school enrollment for 2010.
Wow is this accurate data? I want to know your sources!!!!
Assuming the increase is linear divide 13.7million by 10 That's how much it differs from year to year so if you want to work backwards then from 2005 to 2002 you will have to subtract
And vice versa add if you want to go in higher years.
13.7\[\div\]10=1.37
my sources come from my textbook
according to me...we will substract 16.3 from 13.7 and then divide thet value by 10....that will give per year increase in enrolment...
then multiply with 7 (as 1995-2002) to get the answer...
to the answer we get frm above..we will add in 13.7 to get the final result..nd i m gettng it to be 15.42 million...
vtz the answer anywayz??
and in 2010 it will be 17.6 million..
