First you have to "Open the module" using the definition of the module: and then you have two ecuations \[16 - 3/4x = 12\] and \[-16 +3/4x = 12\] Then you have to solve each one and you will got it.

If the two ecuations have the same solution, then there will be only one solution. But if they have diferent solutions, then there will be two solutions. You just have to solve for x.
