help please! Write the slope-intercept equation for the line that passes through (2, -7) and (4, -13). Please show all of your work.

first find the gradient using the gradient formula which is 3. so y = 3x + c now to find the c, use any either (2,-7) or the other coordinate and u'll get c as-13. thus final equation obtained is y = 3x -13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gradient forumla is (y2-y1) div (x2-x1)

wth am i doing it correctly or im misunderstanding the qs lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh gradient is -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

therefore final equation is y = 3x - 1
