OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the difference of (−5x2 − x3 − 3) − (9x3 + 3x − 6x2). Be sure to show all of your work in a neat and organized fashion.

OpenStudy (atlas):

Open the brackets b4 the minus. Change the signs inside. Then the problem is reduced to adding and subtracting number of apples and oranges. Also one more thing, do your own homework :P

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

rewrite this \[-5x^2 -x^3 -3 -9x^3 -3x + 6x^2\] collect like terms and writing in descending powers order \[(-1 -9)x^3 +(-5+6)x^2 -3x -3 = -10x^3 +x^2 -3x -3\]
