Does the rule y = 4 * 4^x represent a linear or an exponential function? Explain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

easiest way is to graph it. however, u know that for a linear function the form is y=ax+b in this case, we have 4^x! something^x means it is exponential right there. :)
