how to integrate sec^3 x + e^sinx /sec x dx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyone can help me???

OpenStudy (turingtest):

for the second term use u=sinx the first one requires integration by parts

OpenStudy (turingtest):

for the first term\[u=\sec x\]\[dv=\sec^2xdx\]and for the second term\[t=\sin x\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tq Turing Test.. i will trt to get the answer;))

OpenStudy (turingtest):

welcome :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm still confuse to get the answer.. anyone can help me with solutions

OpenStudy (turingtest):

we don't just give final answers here where are you stuck?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why u said t=sin x???

OpenStudy (turingtest):

\[t=\sin x\]\[dt=\cos x dx\implies dx=\sec xdt\]substitute in for t and dx and you get the second term as\[\int e^tdt\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok2;) i try first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tq;)
