if you weigh 180 pounds, what would you weigh on a kg scale?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so although kg's are a unit of mass, kg's are often used to describe the equivalent weight of objects. so if you weigh 180 pds, what would you weigh on a kg scale? 396 came out wrong :o

OpenStudy (stormfire1):

Anyway Cassie, 1 kg = ~2.2 lbs...so you divide the lbs by 2.2 and you end up with just about 82 kg
