Solve this inequality. -3x - 2 > 7 need some help someone tryed to explain to me but didn't get their explaination

-3x - 2 > 7 -3x - 2 + 2 > 7 + 2 ... Add 2 to both sides -3x > 9 ... Combine like terms -3x/(-3) < 9/(-3) ... Divide both sides by -3 (the inequality sign will flip) x < -3 ... Divide So the solution is x < -3
