Please help me find the product of: (x^2 + 4x – 3)(2x^2 + x + 6)

Parth (parthkohli):

\[\Large \color{purple}{\rightarrow x^2(2x^2 + x + 6) + 4x(2x^2 + x + 6) - 3(2x^2 + x + 6) }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did it differently

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow that makes it a lot clearer! so \[2x^4 + x^3 + 6x^2 + 8x^2 + 4x^2 + 24x - 6x^2 -3x - 18\]

Parth (parthkohli):

Exactly jazy!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So now I combine the like terms, right? Im not very good at this so i appreciate the help!

Parth (parthkohli):

Parth (parthkohli):

Similarly, you can use the foil method, but that sucks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if i go view it can you scroll over my name because it will show you: is viewing ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2x^4 + x^3 + 12x^2 - 21x - 18\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that right?

Parth (parthkohli):

Looks very much right to me :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks so much!

Parth (parthkohli):

kropot has done that correctly. @Abirla

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know but can you show me how to do it with a table. its the only way i know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you help me solve (2x + 4)(x + 5) as well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or parthkohli

OpenStudy (anonymous):

never mind I think I understood it:)

Parth (parthkohli):
