For a set of six integers, the mode is 8, the median is 9 and the mean is 10. The smallest integer is greater than 6 and the largest integer is 16. Find the two possible sets of six integers.

write the formula of median and mode and equate it to 9 and 10

But there are 6 different values. That'd only help tackle 3 or 4, won't it?

Think this is a kind of trial and error thing. You could start with a set like 7 8 8 9 12 16 and then go from there...
