Determine whether the graph of the systems of equations has one solution, no solution, or infinitely many solutions. 12x-9y=27 8x-6y=18

12 -9 27 8 -6 18 I row reduced to 4 -3 9 4 -3 9 Can you tell me what that answer will be from here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

both have same reduced answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But if they are same that means that the equations are the same even the slope. So that means that they are parallel lines!! So that means it can either be no solution because parallel lines cant intersect or there are an infinite solutions thats when both lines are the same. These are teh same line can you now tell me what it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

infinite

great don't forget this!!
