if you have y=ax squared, like a regular parabula...if a was really small, would the parabula be wider or thinner?

If 'a' is between 0 and 1, then the parabola would be wider compared to a parabola where a > 1

For example, the parabola y = 0.25x^2 is wider compared to y = 5x^2
