Write the equation of the line which passes through (5, –2) and is parallel to x = 4 I can see the answer would have to be x=5, but I don't understand how you would work this out...

x = 4 is a vertical line passing through 4 in x axis parallel to that line means x = 5

x=4 is a vertical line and the only way you can have a line that goes through that point and be vertical is x=5
