Which course is better? http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/physics/8-01-physics-i-classical-mechanics-fall-1999/ or http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/physics/8-01sc-physics-i-classical-mechanics-fall-2010/ ? The content looks very similar. In fact, the latter uses content from the formal. However, which one should I choose to study from? The latter seems more systematic as it has notes and homework, but I already have former's recommended book. The formal also seems more complete (ideal gas law, uncertainty principle). Should I do a combination of both?
i do believe the 1999 is better, cuz you know Prof. Walter Lewin ~ He's awesome!
first one is good but second one is is designed especially for people doing it on their own.also you will find some extra stuffs like prof. Lewin's videos on solving of homework problems etc in second one..i suggest you the second one if you want to go slow and steady.but if you want to just refer the video lectures (and not any notes,p sets, etc) and do the rest from your book, then 1999 one is better...
