can somebody suggest me a good book to start the subject "production engineering"(at least that's what we call it here)..i tried MIT OCW but obviously they call it something else and tried "how do machines work", etc courses but couldn't find any undergraduate course that matches it completely... PS:it involves gears,machine,machine tools,milling,drilling etc...

That is the scope of mechanical engineering in a broad sense. Industrial engineering may be more equivalent here in the U.S. to what you call production engineering.

thanks!i am really bad at that subject, so i desperately need some resources related to that.will search through the name Industrial engineering...
