I finally finished the greedy advisor and just wanted to check to see if I'm getting the 'right' results. cmpWork checks that work1 is less than work2, so when I use it my results should be giving me courses with the least amount of work, right? Same results as mine. I used a slightly different implementation though. :) Good luck on the dpAdvisor(). That's a tough one....
