the axis of symmetry for a parabola is located at x=2. There is a zero at x=6. Where is the other zero?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one zero is 4 units to the right of 2, the other must be 4 units to the left (since axis of symmetry means it is symmetric about \(x=2\)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

symmetric means its the same structure on each side; x=2 is the middle of the zeros

OpenStudy (amistre64):

we are getting way to many smart people on here these days lol
