Why is the second derivative defined by parametric curves NOT defined as the note but by replacing y with dy/dx. (See attached pdf).

@lalaly That doesn't really help...I'm trying to understand why the second derivative isn't the "Note". In essensce, how is the second derivative derived? I know it's right there in the pdf but I don't understand the concept behind it. Can you do a proof or something?
