just some comments on the iOS (openstudy on apple :P)

1. there seems to be a lag before posting (as in the whole screen freezes)

2. the unofficial groups dont appear on the blue bar containing the groups i joined (but they contain groups i did not enter o.O)

1) The lag may be due to having too many things running at once. Either that or there are kinks in OS.

2) I have experienced being part of groups I didn't enter but perhaps it might be because of a hyperlink? I usually just click "Stop studying". I'm not sure about the distinction between official and unofficial groups though. Perhaps another kink that OS needs to work out.

Of course all of this is speculation only.

but i know all my groups...and i think it was also coz of the infinite scrolling over groups lol

Hm. Interesting.

So the freeze is expected. You're running the full desktop codebase, even if we do rearrange things to make it look better. We might make some changes to our asset pipeline that serves up different JavaScript based on whether or not you're mobile.

With regard to being in groups you're not in... I'm not really sure. heh. Haven't seen it myself.
