OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you perform the experiment, "Toss Three Coins", what is the probability of getting three tails?

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

The probability of getting a single tail from a single flip is exactly\[1\over2\]For three flips, you have a \(1/2\) chance of getting a tails each time. Taken together, you have to multiply each as to be multiplied together. So you should get\[{1 \over 2}\cdot {1 \over 2}\cdot {1 \over 2}={1 \over 8}\]
