The system of equations
-5x - 2y = 27
-3x + 3y = 12
is graphed below. Find the solution to the system.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
x = -4, y = -1
x = -1, y = -5
x = -5, y = -1
x = -5, y = 0
OpenStudy (anonymous):
x=-5, y=-1

hm okay,
2x+2y=18
8x-7y= -33
OpenStudy (anonymous):
multiply first by 4
8x+8y=72
8x-7y=-33
subtract
15y=105
y=105/15=7
find x by putting y
2x+14=18
x=2
